Which plan includes WordPress hosting?

Who pays for the servers?

Will it clobber my existing DNS?

Not without you saying so. If the domain already has records, the launch stops and names them, and only proceeds once you confirm Chirply may replace them.

What happens if a provisioning step fails?

The site keeps a step log showing where it stopped, and you can retry from there rather than starting over. Sites you genuinely want gone are removed through a confirmed destruction flow.
