What actually changes day to day

Four differences that matter after the demo

1. Who administers the communications stack?

Chirply's standard setup uses your connected Twilio and Mailgun accounts. That gives you direct billing and provider administration, with setup and deliverability work to manage. Agency partners may instead pool providers and set client rates. HighLevel funds native usage services through an agency wallet. Compare the work of administering those models as well as their costs.

2. How do client accounts scale?

Reseller Partner is $297 a month and White-Label Partner is $497 a month. Each one is a complete subscription that includes a Scale-level account, so it replaces a retail plan rather than sitting on top of one. Lower founding rates exist, but only inside a timed window offered shortly after signup — the price on your own Billing screen is the one that applies to you.

Your allowance is shown on your own Clients screen, next to how many you have used. It is sized for an agency's whole book of business rather than a handful of accounts, and if you outgrow it, ask Support and it is raised — it is a number on your account, not a wall. See the white-label CRM guide for the partner operating model.

3. Can software do everything a person can?

Chirply defines user-facing operations once in a capability registry. The public REST API, built-in MCP server, and in-app Copilot are adapters over the same schemas, permissions, risk classifications, and handlers. HighLevel offers workflow automation and plan-dependent API access, with Basic API listed on Unlimited and Advanced API on Agency Pro.

4. What would your team have to rebuild?

Existing templates, reporting, staff knowledge and integrations have value. Make a list of what transfers, what needs rebuilding and what you will keep. Inspect Chirply's live feature catalog and shipping log; items on the roadmap are not a substitute for a requirement you need today.

Migration checklist

Pilot one client before a full migration

1. Inventory and preserve

List contacts, custom fields, pipelines, automations, forms, calendars, domains and integrations. Export the data your current tools support and preserve reporting, consent records and conversation history separately where needed. A contact CSV does not move snapshots, workflow logic or historical conversations.

2. Verify a small contact import

In Chirply, open Contacts → Import and use a small CSV first. Review the column mapping, tag the batch and check a contact after import. Existing email or phone matches are left unchanged, so plan updates separately instead of expecting the import to overwrite records.

3. Recreate one complete customer journey

Connect the required providers in Settings → Integrations. Rebuild one form, pipeline, calendar and follow-up workflow using sample contacts. Keep outbound automations paused while inspecting their triggers, recipients, timing and sender configuration. Then run an authorized internal test from lead capture to booking and reporting.

4. Plan the production cutover

Confirm phone-number porting, messaging registration, sending-domain setup and integration permissions with the relevant providers. Document which historical data stays in the old system, compare reports, and assign an owner for every client. Keep access to the old setup until the pilot results and retention requirements are satisfied.

These steps reflect Chirply's current contact-import and workflow interfaces. They are an evaluation checklist, not a claim that a complete HighLevel account or snapshot imports automatically.

Frequently asked

Chirply vs GoHighLevel FAQ

Is Chirply a GoHighLevel alternative?

Yes. Both cover CRM, communications, workflows, funnels, scheduling and agency operations. Chirply is worth evaluating for direct provider billing and shared REST, MCP and Copilot access. Compare the exact workflows and integrations your clients rely on before switching.

Is Chirply cheaper than GoHighLevel?

It depends on the operating model and usage. HighLevel lists Starter at $97/month, Unlimited at $297 and Agency Pro at $497. Compare the agency subscription, required apps and provider usage together rather than comparing a single-workspace plan with an agency bundle.

Does Chirply mark up phone or email usage?

In the standard bring-your-own setup, Twilio and Mailgun bill your account directly and Chirply adds no markup to those provider bills. Agency partners can instead pool providers and set their own client rates. HighLevel uses an agency wallet for usage services and documents plan-dependent rebilling.

Which platform is better for an established HighLevel agency?

Choose Chirply for direct provider ownership, connected customer workflows and shared REST, MCP and Copilot access. Start with one client account, map your existing snapshots and integrations, then roll out the verified workflow across your agency. Preserve the data and history you need during the move.
